My friend's old PC fried so he's getting a new PC but he wants really good components because he doesn't want that to happen again and he chose these parts

What advice would you give him?

Personally I think he's spending way too much on everything that isn't the CPU and GPU

$2k budget yes to OC no to sli/xfire

👍Definitely a better option. For the budget and the high end components I'd try and grab some higher clocked ram if possible.
