compatible with my msi z87-gaming-g45 GAMING motherboard?
I am going to use the i5 4670k, I will overclock it when I need to, but not straight away, it seems the 4670k will offer good performance at stock anyway. even if I overclock it will be mild.

Should be fine but check with the motherboard manufacture to be sure it is on there approved list. But it says intel Haswell approved on the product description.

Yes those should work, and don't worry about the QVL lists, those are worthless, see my info thread here:
