http://ark.intel.com/products/65719/Intel-Core-i7-3770-Processor-(8M-Cache-up-to-3_90-GHz)

compatible with the rest of my build;

Kingston Hyper X RAM 8GB @ 1600 Mhz
GA-B75M-D3H Gigabyte motherboard
Nvidia GT 640
1TB Seagate
Thermaltake V4 black case
700 WATT PSU

Also please don't say that I need a better graphics card (I already know)

Solution
I would grab a cheaper CPU for gaming like an i5

If you do need the extra HT, get the Xeon E3's, they are cheaper and get more cache but lack igpu
There is even a version of the xeon with with an IGPU and is still cheaper than the i7
Your motherboard supports the Xeons

1230v2, 100mhz slower, mroe cache, no IGPU, $55 cheaper

1240v2, same speed, more cache, no IGPU, $30 cheaper

1245v2, same speed, more cache, with IGPU, $15 cheaper

i7 3770, most expensive, less cache, only 100mhz faster than 1230v2 and cheaper option also has IGPU...
