I would like to upgrade my graphics card to the GeForce GTX 960 but I am not sure if it will actually work with my computer.

CPU: AMD FX-6300 Six-Core 3.50 GHz
RAM: 8.00 GB
Motherboard: MSI 760GMA-P34(FX) (MS-7641)

ATX 400W Switching Power Supply, Model: SL-F400.

from web searches on that it looks and sounds like a horrible, generic PSU.

replace the PSU with a more modern unit

then I'd beel better about putting a new GPU in.
