Is this compatible?

I'm looking to upgrade my CPU on my laptop and I was wondering if this AMD Ryzen 3 is compatible with my current mother board. I used Speccy to figure out what my motherboard is and it said "Acer Ironman_SK (U3E1)" and I did some googling and I am not sure if this is compatible.

no that is an intel CPU so no it will not work. and if I am not mistaken that CPU is not replaceable.

Why would it not be replaceable, I mean it's easy. If it is the AMD Processor I could look for an Intel one instead.

No you are stuck with your CPU, its a BGA (Ball Grid Array)socket, meaning that the CPU is soldered directly to the motherboard.

The i5-7200U is still a good processor.
