Is this computer okay for playing games?

'Ello mates. I'm wondering if this PC is okay enough to run games. An example of a couple of games I'll run on it are TF2, League of Legends, Minecraft, similar sorts. I won't be getting those games that require a BEAST gaming PC. All I really care about is if it can run it decently, not like those super decked out ones. Apologies, I don't have allot of knowledge when it comes to PCs and specs.

Also I won't be only using it for gaming so don't take it as a pure gaming computer. I'm only a teenager and I still have school to finish so I will use the PC for work as well.

What pc? a pc without any components will be a no, you can't play any pc games without a pc.

It has a 7450 amd which is a really weak card, but for those games at 720p i think it will do.
But i recommend if you can see a better pc with at least a gfx card like a 7750-7770 AMD.

Yea that is a weak card and I couldn't find any specs on what PSU it used but I would assume that would also need to be replaced if you ever wanted to add a decent video card to it. It should run the games you listed just not very well, what resolution monitor will you be using?

It's from Best Buy. An automatic no. Those systems have very low end GPUs, junk PSUs, and operating systems loaded down with bloatware that makes it nearly unusable. Plus you have to deal with their horrible Geek Squad service.

No offense but that's a horrible build for $1K. You don't need that cooler for a locked CPU (and that cooler is junk anyways). Raidmax cases are garbage, that RAM is old triple channel for X58 systems, a 64GB SSD will barely hold an OS, and you can definitely get a better GPU.

I would suggest a few things:

- Drop the extra hard drives - you can always add more as you need them
- Go with a single stronger GPU than two weaker ones
- If you're going to overclock you need an unlocked processor, otherwise the fan is not necessary
