Is this computer "spec" good for ps gaming?

Hi, i asked a friend to help me build my computer and he gave me this list.
i dont even know what they do, save for ram ^^ can you guys review them?
ps. my english is broken since its not my first language. so take it easy.

case.............Antec 1100
motherboard............Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD5H
processor.............Intel Core i5-2500K Sandy Bridge
ram..............CORSAIR XMS 8GB
graphic card..............GeForce GTX 650 Ti
Hard Drive.................Seagate - Barracuda 500GB
optical drive...............Asus - BC-12B1ST
power supply................Corsair GS Series GS800
wifi card....................Linksys


do i need sound card or its already built-in?
what does it mean by DDR?
what kind of computer this will be?

Yeah, your friends seems to know what he is doing. Ask if you could get a i5 3570K instead of the 2500K. They are the same price and slightly more efficient.

You don't need a sound card, that motherboard has a good one built in.
DDR means double data rate or something. Don't worry about it. As long as your RAM is DDR3 and your GPU is GDDR5, you are fine.
This will be a mid-range gaming computer, if that is what you mean by "what kind of computer this will be."

I totally agree! go with a 7870, its what im running currently and i have been playing Far cry 3, hitman, and others in ultra.
