Gigabyte GA-Z87-D3HP motherboard, i5 4690k processor, nvidia asus gtx 760 gpu, 8gb corsair vengence ram, corsair vs 650 psu with a 2tb and 500 gb hard disks.. is this a good config to what i am affording??

It does automatic compatibility checks and you can also view other builds.
Once you have finished adding your parts to a list, please could you post the link here? This way I can tell you any improvements that you may need to make.

This build looks great, very similar to my current PC in fact! Absolutely legendary case which coincidentally is going to be used in my next system! Only one thing to point out:
Are you aware that the specified CPU comes with a cooler? If not then an additional one should not be necessary unless you will be overclocking.
Aside from that, good luck to you mate, decent specs for the price
