Just discussing the cooling, yeah it'll be fine. It won't win any awards for the cooling but it is one of the most silent running coolers out there. The question you do want to ask is if it will work with the RAM you have. It's not a small cooler and overhangs all 4 of the RAM slots on a motherboard. It has a RAM clearance of 47mm so make sure your RAM will work with that.
