Is this CPU compatible with ASUS PRIME Z270-A ?

I'm building a PC for my father. And I was wondering if i5-3570k processor is good? I'd want some processor within i5 because I don't need it to be overkill. Could someone give me some advice and tell me if it fits with the ASUS PRIME Z270-A motherboard? Thanks

Nope. It 3rd gen CPU, and Z270 takes only 6th and 7th gen CPU.

What processor would you recommend, that isn't THAT expensive, that fits with it ofcourse?

Cheapest i5 that work with this motherboard are i5-6400 and i5-7400. Other choices are 6500, 6600 and 6600K, and also 7500, 7600 and 7600K. CPUs that end with K don't have cooler, so you need to buy one yourself.
I don't know what is your budget and prices in your country, but I find 7500 to be quite good unit that is also quite cheap.

Best i5 is 7600K. There is also i7 that is better, i7-7700K.
