Hey bros,so i'm going to upgrade my pc and i want to know if the new parts are going to be compatible with my rig here's my current rig
Cpu:amd fx 9370
Gpu:r9 270
Ram:8gb
Mobo:gigabyte ga 990xa ud3
Psu:cougar cmx700w
Case:cooler master k380
So i'm going to change my cpu to an intel i7 4790(non k) and my gpu to an msi gtx 970 and i'm going to add another 8gb of ram...but i don't know what mobo should i get i want a mobo under 150$ and compatible with my rig and i might do a sli in the future...and do i have to change my psu?this pc is for heavy gaming and a little bit of video editing...do i have to get a cpu cooler?is this new rig going to be good for the new games like the witcher 3 and ac unity and these games?i want to play these games at max settings on a 1080p 60hz monitor can this new rig do that?

The stock cooler will be fine. Bigger coolers are only needed for overclocking and very hot living conditions. Future proof is hard to predict. The i7 and GTX 970 is future proof for at least several years. In a few years you may want a more powerful video card but the i7 should still be going strong. You should be able to max most games at 1080p 60Hz. with your system. It will be a very good system.
Yes you need a new motherboard, and your Cougar PSU (made by HEC) is poor quality and should be replaced as soon as possible. This motherboard is SLI ready and so is this high quality power supply-

how about the msi z97s sli plus...is it compatible with my rig?and how about the cooler master v750 gold?are they good?are they compatible with my rig does it support sli?
