I don't think it is because the CPU is FM2 and motherboard is AM3+ but I'm not really sure so anyone know?

just some additional info, for future reference, you can do a few things to check compatibility yourself. first, sockets, if they are different then they are not compatible (even physically). next if they use the same socket, go to the website of that brand, search for the board, check the "supported cpu list", you might need to update the bios (or the board may be too old/limited to support that cpu
