Hi All,

Iam once again curious and in need of help. Is this computergood enough to run Day Z (Mod and Standalone) on ultra settings with a frame rate of at least 50 and Minecraft (With Mods) at over 60i?

Here is the website: http://www.gamedude.com.au/

I'm looking for prefferably a laptop that runs with te above statements but I would be more than happy if it was a desktop computer. for prefferably under $800 AUD

Thanks,
wertie

(I will be using teamspeak as well)

Solution
For less than $800 AUD, I would go with a desktop, especially if you are going to play DayZ on Ultra. DayZ is not very well optimized, so will run slowly even on $1500-$2000 (USD) laptops (I speak from experience). I would highly recommend building your own computer, if you are up for it, with AMD processor and GPU, since they are cheaper. For $800 (AUD) You should be able to build a high performance desktop, but a laptop at that price really isn't going to do what you want. If you don't want to build your own, The X Gamer Pro AMD on the website you specified looks like a nice desktop at your price-range.

Thanks. I was going to build my own computer but I can't pay for one currently so I just decided to get a pre-built one until I can pay to build my own. But Thankyou anyway.
