I purchased an ASUS PB278Q (27", 2560x1440p, 60Hz, 5ms) but, due to my desk, I need a 3-5m DVI cable to connect it to my PC.

Being Australian, I looked on MSY(.com.au) for DVI cables.

The "8Ware DVI-DD5 5 Meter M-M DVI-D-DVI-D Dual Link Cable" is their best DVI cable and is $20 AUD.

I am wondering if this cable is to the same quality as the DVI cable that was packaged with the monitor.

Does anyone have any idea or maybe even used this or a similar product (perhaps from the same manufacturers)?

Linking you the product page is useless as it is a standard image and title; nothing else.

Thank you.

DVI, HDMI and Displayport use digital signals, they work 100% or they don't work at all. The quality of the cable does not matter at all to image quality unlike an analog signal (VGA).
Just pick up whatever cheap HDMI/DVI cable you can find your local electronics store, it really doesn't matter as far as what shows up on your screen.

Thank you all.

That's actually interesting but great to hear. However, just for whatever reason, I'll opt for the $20 'expensive' option.
