Is this enough power?

I have a 430w PSU and looking to buy a GPU.
Without the GPU the wattage is 242w.
With the GPU the wattage is 332w.


So basically my question is, is a 430w power supply enough for 332w? Its 100w more so it is more than enough right?

As long as you don't ever plan on getting a gfx card more demanding than the GTX 950, you are fine with the 430W. But it will limit you to what you can use if you ever want to upgrade. I would suggest something in the 600-650W range to allow for future upgrading.

Pay $10 more and you'll get an infinitely better unit. That will work for a while, but it is not a very reliable unit.

430w is plenty of power. That particular psu is low quality. You'll need to spend a little more to get a GOOD model.

This is the cheapest GOOD model without a rebate.

Fit? Yes, the GTX 950 will fit just fine. The Evga 430W, while not the best, will be fine for now. The Seasonic 520W however, is one hell of a lot better PSU for a little bit more money. And when you are ready to get a faster card, you probably won't have to buy a new, bigger PSU. And trust me... you'll eventually want a faster card.
