Question Is this enough wattage?

Hey there, So I’m creating a new PC build and I’m using the EVGA 3060 XC and the i5-12600K. Will this PSU be good enough: EVGA SuperNOVA 550 GM, 80 Plus Gold 550W, Fully Modular. On PCpartPicker the estimated wattage is 459. Currently I have a 500W but I think it’s time for an upgrade.

Nvidia recommends 550W for that GPU. Where I know nothing specifically at issue with that PSU selection it would be worth consideration to get something with more overhead. If you choose to upgrade down the road it could result in having to include the new more powerful power supply as well.

550w may be ok.
But, your processor is capable of running a much stronger graphics card in the future.
I would suggest 750w.
It will only use the power demanded of it, regardless of the max capability.
On newegg, the 750w version is only $17 more.
