Question Is this even possible?

Hello, I've watched many threads on this forum but still can not come to conclusion with my motherboard
Can i put PCI-E 16x 3.0 GPU on PCIE 16x 1.0(thats what i think mine pci-e is(1.0))
My motherboard is GA-M56S-S3

Yes you can, however the gpu will be limited to pcie 1.0 speed.
Also should make sure your psu is up to the task of running the gpu.
