Is this factory built PC upgrade-able ?

I'm wondering if i could put in a new GPU ? My friend was willing to give me his old GPU for free, a GT440 (Shit, but better than my G210 ). Thank you in advance.

You can put any GPU as long as you have a PCI-E slot running at 16x which you have. I would recommend checking on your PSU before adding it though since those models usually come with a standard PSU, even though that GPU does not require loads of power its always good to make sure before you plug it in.

If im not mistaken that model comes with a 300w generic PSU if that pc has had prolonged use over the years you might have problems when you plug your new GPU.

The GT440 requires a 300w PSU minimum. Just make sure yours is in working condition.

Yeah, you shouldn't have a problem doing this, but beware: by opening to the machine to swap out the GPU, you might void the warranty - is it a newly purchased machine?
