Hey its me again, so after i posted here about the 7700 i was getting i collected some extra bucks and i ordered the 7700k.So this is my final build:
Intel i7 7700k
Cooler master 212evo
GA z270-hd3
G.skill ripjaws 16gb 2400mhz
EVGA GTX 1070 FTW 8gb
Toshiba 1tb HDD 7200rpm
Nzxt s340 White
XFX 750W 80+Gold
So guys i wanna know if this build is stong enough for gaming in 1080/1440p and future proof, i went with 212 evo because im not planning on overclock i will run it on stock speeds if i OC ill just buy a new cooler.Thank you
Yours Sincerely

Well, you have 1080p overkill in all the right places (a good thing), so that will definitely help the system last longer. :)
If you're not overclocking, even the stock Intel cooler is sufficient. The 212 EVO is a definite improvement though.

If I was to make one suggestion (outside the SSD which you already have covered), it would be to check and see how much more it would be to go with a larger size platter drive. Sometimes the larger drives end up being a better deal, and space will run out faster than you think. I have a 3tb drive alongside my SSD drive and I still don't have enough free space for what I use my computer for.

It's an excellent build, but "future-proof" is a term that shouldn't be tossed around lightly. Your build can essentially last forever if you're willing to upgrade parts as old ones becomes irrelevant, but if you stay with the same parts, there will come a day that it will become inadequate for gaming. Time always wins.

This build will last you a fairly long time. But as time advances, technology advances. There will be a time and place where everyone will need new hardware. Just a matter of when.

Umm some of the components you have are great but you don't even have an SSD for your OS, so I guess it depends on what your definition of future proof is.

Also future proof is kind of hard to say because there are sometime huge leaps forward in speed (like going from hdd to ssd too pcie ssd to nvme pcie ssd) while other times Intel sits on their hands for the most part making 5-10% improvements year after year. So yeah who knows if Intel will change their road map and sights higher.

I haven't included the SSD I have an m.2 SAMSUNG 950 256gb,it is from my friend like a gift because he is leaving his hometown for a long time so he said you can keep it. I just wanted to know will it be ok for 7700k no OC with 212 evo?
