I like all sorts of games, graphics intensive, cpu intensive, I am also a programmer and I love multi tasking.
Currently have a 1440p monitor but future plan to upgrade to a 4k monitor. I do have a 4k gaming tv which I plan to connect to if I want to play games like witcher 3.
Also, out of the 3 storages, I am only buying "TEAMGROUP MP33 1TB", other two coming from my old pc, should I use old storage? The old nvme is 6 years old and the ssd is 3 years old.

I am just wondering if 9900x gonna hurt gaming performance compare to a x3D variant
not by much
at 1440p there is only 5-6% difference on average (could be a bit more in some games)
compared to 7800x3d while using rtx 4090 (which is even more powerful of a video card than rtx 5080)
at 4K (which is probably your target future resolution)
its not even worth mentioning - the difference is 2% on average .

however 9900x is 25% faster on average in applications .
