That is the link to the laptop, I am wondering if this is:

1) worth the price / are there better laptops for a similar or a bit more expensive price which are much better.

2) Could it run TotalWarhammer 2 at high settings, and some other fairly modern games. e.g PUBG, Civ 6, or Dark souls 3,

Thank you so, so much for any help.

P.S I know I could probably get a desktop PC for similar price and it be better, but I might be moving around and travelling so I'm looking for something portable.

It's alright. Would play most games on 1080p though, not just with high settings.

I checked that link. I used to Moderate at a forum, PCWorld.com. Had folks from the UK coming in from the UK thinking we were part of PC World Superstore. We were attatched to a Magazine of the same name, PCWorld. They went digital and shut the forums down. Anyway, you may want to look at ASUS Gaming stuff. I just bought one at Christmas. It out benched this desktop, so upgraded the desktop to the same specs. The Lappy had a GTX 1070 and this desktop has a GTX 1080. Real happy with the ASUS I bought. Went over and had a look. From the price of the HP, this would be a good choice for your budget. I was looking at an MSI, but the one I liked was never in stock so got the ASUS. https://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/compu...1050-gaming-laptop-1-tb-hdd-10179513-pdt.html

Do you think it would be worth the extra money to upgrade to this laptop with a 1060?

I want to buy a gaming Laptop which can play things like the latest and future Total War games, as well as some other AAA titles, at high settings. Can these laptops do that, and if so which one should I get?

If you guys have any other ideas from a budget NO MORE than £1000, and preferable under that would be extremely helpful. Thank you!
