Hi guys i have planned to [strike]buy[/strike] build a new gaming pc for my brother. He is studying in high school. He loves gaming a lot and he plays games like gtav , witcher 3,csgo etc.

I have planned to go with the amd a10 7890k which has an apu which seems to promise well on decent gaming and also the gpu is r7 250 2gb gddr5.
I heard that these two combine together to form dual graphics which would increase the fps(I think so....)

Please tell me whether is it worth it (and also am i correct) and i dont want to change the cpu as it seems pretty promising and also the budget is also what that is crushing me and please tell me whether do i need to change the gpu or keep the same gpu . Please tell the best gpu at some 80 bucks or 5000 to 6000inr

Thank you and please help me asap.!!!!!!!!!!!

thank you

I'm so glad you chose not to buy an APU.

The cpu is not promising, it's very weak. In fact it is significantly weaker in gaming and more expensive than the dual core pentiums G4560/G4600.
The dual graphics wil increase frames in games that support it but it will still be poor.
I'd suggest the pentium or wait for a ryzen 3 (probably June) and put the 70 bucks saved into a better GPU such as a 1050ti. That will blow the 7890k/250 out the water at the same price.

Those are old components, and neither of those qualify in my oppinion for a gaming pc.

For example, Witcher 3 would be on the 30fps... almost on the fringe of being unplayable. In a couple of years you will be unable to move the next gen games if you dont drop the quality to the bare minimun.

i thought that this build would have high upgradability options and also he can replace the graphics card in the future according to the games that he wants to play and also after some 4 to 5 years he is not going to use the pc anymore and would change for a laptop as it would help him in his studies

The GPU is would have problems even with some of teh stated games (GtaV and Witcher3), at the same time the Cpu is not good for gamming (in fact is very bad for gamming) and could be a bottleneck for upgradeability.

If you want some future proof CPU you need at least a Ryzen Cpu, a Ryzen 5 1500X for example.
For Gpu, for those games at FullHD maybe a 470 that now that the 570 is out could give you some good oportunities to grab one.

The card is a good one.

I still dont like the Cpu, i try to switch it for a new Ryzen even for a small price upgreade.

What is your total budget in INR?

The advice you are being given is good advice, those AMD APUs are just not that good for gaming and have got very limited upgrade options.

Look for an i3, any 4th gen or newer will serve you well. The latest gen pentiums are also good (g4560, g4600, g4620)

my budget is 30000inr

i need these parts compulsarily:

gtx 1050ti 4gb
8gb ram

guys but seriously i like the amd processor than intel. After seeing this processor i even thought of changing my computer(which has intel) to amd processor.

We all have things we like even though we know there are MUCH better options. It seems no one can dissuade you from your poor choice of CPU. If budget considerations are the reason then it's understood.

That said, that generation of AMD CPU/APU is weak and can be beaten by Intel's lowest level current CPU line. The only reason to select an APU is to utilize the better than Intel integrated graphics but not for any intensive gaming. You've already decided to get a discrete GPU so it makes no sense to get an APU.

You wouldn't find many who would go to an APU from an Intel build for many good reasons.

Keep looking at the forums, do more research and you will see that as of today, you would do better with an Intel G4560.

Really tough to get a gtx 1050ti (12k inr) in a 30k inr budget.

I did however put this together for you: http://i.imgur.com/rbFv3Zs.png

Pentium G4560, 8gb ram, 1tb HDD and an RX 460 GPU, 31715 inr

This would have zero problem running gta5, csgo, witcher 3 etc

(assembled using https://www.mdcomputers.in 'build your own pc')

The G4560 vs the athlon 860k for gaming: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q-j92ulh108

^the 860k is just like the A10 but without APU graphics, this is just to show the difference in CPU power

Guys i saw in game requirements for outlast 2 . when i made the cpu as intel it did not work see:

http://www.game-debate.com/games/index.php?g_id=20796&game=Outlast+2&popSysReqRAM=8&p_make=Intel&p_deriv=Pentium+G4560+3.5GHz&gc_make=Nvidia&gc_deriv=GeForce+GTX+1050+Ti+Zotac+Mini+4GB&ram=8&checkSubmit=#systemRequirements

when i checked it for the a10 processor it showed like this:

http://www.game-debate.com/games/index.php?g_id=20796&game=Outlast+2&popSysReqRAM=8&p_make=AMD&p_deriv=APU+A10-7870K+Quad-Core&gc_make=Nvidia&gc_deriv=GeForce+GTX+1050+Ti+Zotac+Mini+4GB&ram=8&checkSubmit=#systemRequirements

what am i supposed to do now. dont think that i am supporting amd .

i checked it for all the other games but still it shows a x for intel pentium g4560 processor. but in the youtube they show that the g4560 with gtx 1050ti is able to play games at high setting. i am extremely confused please help

Scroll down to gaming performance and the pentium is tested against the A10 in 14 modern games and performs best in all of them, even beating AMD's high performance 8 core FX8370 in some.

There's nothing confusing about it - the pentium is a better gaming CPU hands down and is half the cost. The problem is you've already made a decision based on emotion.

ok i have planned the build at last.

cpu: intel pentium g4560 @ 5050 inr
gpu: nvidia gtx 1050ti zotac mini 4gb @ 11176.74inr
mobo: gigabyte ga-h110m-s2 @4430inr
ram: kingston hyperx ddr4 ram @2133mhz @ 4475inr
case: tech.com with psu (450watts) @1500inr
hdd toshiba 1tb sata hard drive @3300inr

so is that correct lucotf. total is 29,910.74. and lucotf will the thermal paste be provided in the cpu itself or do i need to buy it separately.
and finally will the pentium g4560 really do well in gaming
