It's all good, 260 is a bit weak if you want to run games high/max

For certain, change that ram to a two stick kit of 2 x 4gb so you can operate in faster dual channel mode.

The rest is OK, but the graphics card is the real engine of gaming. You might spend less on the cpu, perhaps a FX-4300 or the new PentiumK G3258 so you can upgrade the graphics card a bit.

I see no problems. The R9 270x is a good card. An SSD will make your PC run a lot quicker, if you're interested in one of those. Samsung Evo 120, for example.
