This will be my first custom gaming computer. What do you think?
Is their any component that doesn't fit?
Is the motherboard good enough or too good for this build?
Will everything work together.
Is the cpu cooler good enough?
Is the power supply good enough for sli later?

Everything is compatible with each other and, yes, this is one hell of a gaming rig. Well done. For 1080p and even 1440p, you should have no problem whatsoever running anything on it made up until now and anything that will come out in the near future. The 980 is a gaming beast and you have room to upgrade with SLI in the future. Your PSU might be a bit overkill for a single 980 unless you are planning on SLI.

If you want this rig to be a bit more future proof then it already is I would recommend something like an i7 but it's optional. Hard drive is good, SSD is a great choice, I would recommend corsair over seasonic though for the PSU. If you want to find out weather the PSU is overkill just Google a PSU calculator and stick in your components. As for your case I can't really say anything because I no absolutely nothing about cases. Cooler looks fine I guess but not really sure about that company. For stuff that can easily break or is essential in your build (PSU, cooler, cpu, etc.) always choose a big company that you can trust. Everything else looks fine. Make sure you check the latency on your ram though because that also plays a big part. Not a real motherboard expert but your motherboard looks okay, not sure if overkill or no though. Pretty sure everything will fit but you might just want to Google and see if stuff will fit in your case like the cooler but since you have a full tower case everything should fit fine. Overall a pretty solid build. :)

Corsair over seasonic lmao
The only good corsair psu are the ones manufactured by seasonic.

That is mind boggling. This is the equivalent of recommending a Lincoln over an Audi. On paper, they are both very similar and both mass produced but one is a poorly designed, poorly built piece of American crap and the other is, well, German.
