Hello,
So I'm going to buy a new desktop and so far the below specs fit me very well,
CPU - i7 3770k
RAM- Kingston HyperX (2x4GB) DDR3
GPU - Sapphire AMD/ATI Radeon HD 7790 1 GB GDDR5
HDD - Seagate Barracuda 1TB

Is this good enough to be called a future proof (just want to know) PC?
Will this allow me to play current and coming games at nearly high settings?

Thanks

Well, your GPU isn't good.. Playing BF4 you'd have trouble on high settings. So it's definitely not future proof. . What is your budget? How much more are you able to spend?

800$ give or take, sadly.

I wish :p
Its including everything. I can sacrifise less HDD or RAM upto 6GB if it means better GPU.

Well personally i wouldn't get a i7. So overpriced when you can get a 4th gen i5 4670k for much less pricing and still running incredibly fast. I'd try to get the i5 4670k and 7970. Look if this setup will exceed 800$

Ah I never looked into haswell, thought it was more for laptops and didn't have any performance difference
with Ivy.
And yeah, it does stay in budget, thanks to some local offers.
