Is this good for 720p?

Ok, so I am planning on building a computer sometime here soon, and have many of my parts ordered already. I only have a 720p monitor, so I am not going very expensive with all of the parts.
I already have 8GB of DDR3 Ram, a Case, a 500w power supply, hard drive, etc.

What I still need to get though, is a CPU, motherboard, and Graphics card. I have roughly $400 to spend on these, but I would like to keep it lower in case I decide to add an SSD. Because I already have DDR3, skylake is not really an option, so I am settling for Haswell or Haswell refresh for the processor. When I did some looking, here is what I came up with:

CPU: i5-4460 for $180
Motherboard: ASRock H-97 Anniversary ATX for $70
GPU: EVGA GTX 750ti OC for $100

Here was my thought process: I only have a 720p monitor, so I won't need anything better than a GTX 950 unless I upgrade. The 750ti has better value, still being able to play on high/ultra settings at 60 fps for a lot of games (at 720p). Anything above 40 fps is fine for me, so I would rather save the money and get the 750ti. As for processor, I plan play a lot of early access games (Ark Survival, DayZ) and physics heavy games as well, so I figured at least 4 cores would be best, also giving me a couple years before I really need an upgrade. The 4460 is nice and cheap, still offering great performance. With this, I can then upgrade the Graphics card when I decide to upgrade my monitor, while my CPU is still running fine down the road. As for motherboard, it is one of the cheaper boards (cheapest ATX one out there with an H97 socket), but it had good reviews and I don't plan to do much with it.

Please let me know your thoughts on it. If you have a better idea, what is it? Any suggestions would be helpful!

Well that looks fine, except for the card.
If I were you, I'd get the 950, it is worth the extra price.

I dont really think the 750ti can maintain 60 FPS in a lot of games....

When do you plan on getting that new monitor + graphics card? If its kinda soon then I suppose it doesnt matter what card you get now.

The 750ti should be as fast as a 560ti, or maybe a bit faster. Which is rather pathetic to be honest.

TL;DR
Get the 950 instead of the 750ti. Everything else is fine.

Don't plan on getting a new monitor for probably another 2 years. 720p doesn't bother me so I am sticking with it. If I can find a 950 for around $130, I will definitely consider it, but I don't really wanna spend too much.
