We can shave a bit of money off and make it cheaper without sacrificing performance .

The PSU is great but if you don't plan to SLI then it's a waste.

PSU is a waste in either case. It's overkill and too expensive for a single GPU system, and insufficient for 2-way SLI/Crossfire.

Get the 7950 or 670 instead. The 660 Ti isn't that great especially for what you're going to do with it, the low bus rate cripples performance.

A 1TB Caviar Blue is only $10 away from t hat 500gb Toshiba.

Get 2x4gb RAM for dual-channel.

If your 3d work is heavy or much needed for work/school, I believe you'll be better off getting an AMD CPU instead with the 8 Piledriver cores/modules.
