My friend is thinking about getting a new computer for gaming but he dosnt know if it is good. He also added "can it run ARMA 3 without lagging?" these are the specs. Processor: AMD Phenom X4 1.8GHz Quad Core Processor
Memory: 4GB gaming memory with heat sink.
Graphics Card: Geforce 250 GTS
Otical Drive: 24X DVD burner
Hard Drive: 320GB SATA II 7200 RPM
Case: NZXT M 59 Gaming Case
Power Supply: 550 Watts after market power supply

You should expect to pay about $800 to build a PC that can handle that game half decently.

If I had a budget to work with I don't mind creating a parts list though as I said the bare minimum I recommend is $800 before tax/shipping for the case and all internal hardware, and Windows.

If the budget is nowhere near that, then don't play Arma 3. In which case perhaps a PS4 might be something to consider. If you use a PC monitor it would require an HDMI input with HDCP support (and either built-in speakers which I don't recommend or audio output to connect to desktop speakers). A PS4 should perform similarly to a $1000 PC.
