its far more than enough an 8 gb ram is enough for all the mordern games

Upgrading ram can improve a little in gaming, but it all depends on how much ram you were using before. If you were hitting the maximum physical ram often, you could see a little bit of an improvement in gaming.

Depends on your other parts

If you have a decent CPU and graphics card then 4gb is definitely holding you back

8gb is usually enough for anyone though
