Is this good for online gaming?

I can't connect an ethernet cable to my computer directly, because the router is across my house. I know wi-fi isn't very good for gaming, but it's all I have at the moment. I recently found a powerline adapter, and was wondering if it was good enough for gaming in large and small servers (GTAV, CS:GO, TESO, etc.) Here's a link to it:

How well power line networking will 'work' depends on your electrical wiring layout and what is connected to it. Performance can range from great to much worse than WiFi.
