Is this good for the price

Solution
What is the build going to be used for? If gaming, what monitor are you using?

It's just that you've got a top end i7 that could handle the GTX 1080ti, yet you're going for a 1070. Now, if you're not much into gaming or only want 1080p @ 60fps, then the 1070 is more than enough. But if you want to be gaming at 1440p or 1080p @ 144fps then you'll want a more powerful gpu.

Dont change the board. One of the best ones in this era. The board comes with lots of connectivity options, overclocking potential and features like superior audio codec with headphone amps, bluetooth and wifi. Rest looks gud.

Solution

alright thanks ill see what i can do to pony up a little bit more cash so i can get that motherboard

Woah woah, you're only getting a GTX 1080 there, and he's putting in an all in one water cooler which is extremely poor value at this price point.
You can get a 7700 and 1080Ti for $100 less, or this!
35% better GPU performance with a fantastic CPU cooler for the same price.
In regards to that second list, it's pretty much a slightly faster 7700 build as he's put in a B250 board meaning it isn't overclockable.
If you don't want to OC I recommend this.

price point wise, 7700+b250+2400ram+1080 = 7700k+high speed ram+cooler+z270. for 2k and below, the 1080 is more than enough. even a 1070 will do.
HDR monitors r coming. i would suggest a 1070 with a normal monitor and then volta + G sync HDR in the next year. or 1080ti now and HDR g sync monitor later.
