That VS PSU is poor quality. I also don't see the point of buying a Z370 motherboard to then only run a 8100. I know the cheaper boards are not out yet but it just seems a waste of money. I'd either go with a better Intel or switch to Ryzen. You could wait for the cheaper boards.

I agree you could drop the 120gb ssd and use the money elsewhere in the build. You can always add a bigger ssd later.


I would drop the SSD and invest that into a better CPU. With some games exceeding 50GB a 120GB drive doesn't bring enough value imo. Faster boots, Windows nav and quicker game load times isn't worth it. I'd opt for a 256GB drive or larger or move that money over to the CPU.

I prefer the newer Corsair CX550M PSU over that VS model.
 
looks like a good setup you can always install your games on the hdd instead of the ssd, but the ssd is going to make the system a lot faster so keep it. with out it the os load times will be painfully slow, always better to have a ssd for your os.
