Is this good to buy on newegg?

my mum says this might be a bad idea to order online. I'm buying from newegg, and the product is Acer E5-551-89TN Notebook AMD A-Series A8-7100 (1.80GHz) 6GB Memory 1TB HDD AMD Radeon R5 Series 15.6" Windows 8.1 64-Bit. I am going to play a lot of pvp on minecraft and using CoD rescourse packs for minecraft. Should I buy it from newegg? can I buy it from bestbuy? is the laptop even good?

Yes it is great my cousin has a similar laptop with the similar specs however by Asus and he plays without lag on PvP Minecraft.

Can't speak about the laptop, but New Egg is 100% safe to buy from.
I wouldn't even consider going to Best Buy.

Actually, that unit is an extremely poor choice for any kind of gaming. Even the lousy Intel Iris graphics are better than the Radeon R5 graphics. Actually, it's one of the worst performing GPU's available on any current laptop. Why would you tell him this unit will game well?

agree, but we don't even know his budget and it's probably low and that's probably the reason why he'd get that notebook. Also, there's the fact that it plays all the games he listed at decent settings with decent frames per second

Plus you're recommending a 1000.00 laptop in a four to five hundred dollar conversation? Did you NOT read any of the replies or did you just read the first post? Man I'd recommend you to NOT buy acer.. for some reason I don't like acer laptops.. are you looking to buy a gaming laptop? I'd recommend you to go for ASUS .. actually ASUS Vivobook V551LB.. I did some comparison (see my blog) and I find that ASUS Vivobook V551LB is your best bet if you can afford it.. it's a bit expensive , but not on the expensive side! plus you can get free shipping if you order from amazon, just see my blog for more info ! good luck mate!
