Hello,

Looking for a new pc that can play games on high settings. I don't stream or record videos it would be solely for playing games and doing Uni work.

I am on a budget of about £700.

I found this pc on overlockers and edited it a bit and came up with this:
http://

When I find an almost exact build, buying the parts separately it's similar in price and that's without windows plus you get the 1 year anti virus.

Am I missing something or is this good value for money?

Thanks.

I don't know about the psu, 120gb cheap ssd. Mediocre case.

This would be much better :

I presume I would still need to buy a cpu cooler and pci e for wifi? Also how does the Ryzen 5 2600X compare to the i5 8400 which is slightly cheaper? What makes the case 'mediocre' are they not just bought for appearance mainly?

I would buy and make yourself... and use a 1060 3Gb instead of 1050ti for same price.

Is it not better to buy 2x4gb as oppose to 1x8gb? for the same if not a lower price.

Decent for the money.
Swap the case for the Focus g mini
Make the primary drive the wd blue 250gb ssd.
Make the second drive a 1tb seagate barracuda.

That brings you in at £702.

The only worry then is The slightly crappy kolink psu they use in these cheaper systems.

Replace it soon as the warranty period is nearing its end.

Yes, even that Asus 1050ti would do. The 1050ti is not a hot running card. In a case with good airflow, u won't face any issues.

@the paladin, I am not understanding what you are saying. U said "instead of having to get 2x8GB in the Ryzen suggest model" that's y I replied so above.

Put this together from both suggestions, how does it look?

Seeing as youre up close to £800 now.

This gets you 16gb ram in.

Wireless adapter ?

I bought one of these be sure my laptop wireless died. This pulls 155mb from a virgin superhub on a different floor .

Wechip Wifi Dongle, AC600 802.11ac Dual Band 5GHz Mini Wireless Network USB Wifi Adapter for PC Desktop Laptop Tablet, Support Windows 10/8/7/Vista/XP/2000, Mac Os X 10.4-10.12 https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B077HV82GH/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_zNT.AbA206TMW

Absolutely sterling for under a tenner, youll see my review with a screengrab if you look.

Q300l - lovely little case , needs an intake fan adding (or 2 if you like , pro 4 has plenty of fan headers)

Can't go wrong with the f12 pwm for a fiver each.
