Im running a gtx970 and an amd fx6300 and my psu died, im looking for an in-store pickup and I come across the Corsair RM series 750w psu and I was wondrring if there are any real problems with it. I know the wattage may be a bit high, but Im looking to upgrade in the near future and this seems perfect.

If you mean 750pw, yea its a lot of wattage but unless your planning on sli/crossfire in the future, you shouldn't need it. But then again I have a Supernova 750 Watt PSU as well. If your on a budget I would get a smaller watt PSU. If your going to upgrade in the future, I would recommend getting an Intel CPU. They tend to use less power compare to an AMD CPU/APU.
