Question Is this GPU compatible with my Motherboard?

Hello hello, I'm new to this and I don't really know a lot about computers.

English is also not my first language so I apologize if some sentences sound a bit rough.

I was wondering if the 8GB MSI GeForce RTX 4060 Ti would be compatible with my MSI X570-A PRO ATX AM4 (MS-7C37) Motherboard. And if so, if it would be pssoble to maybe run it as the main GPU to my current Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080.

Not that I would need it urgently but I do notice video buffering on YT when I use multiple windows of Emulators like BlueStacks or MuMu and it is getting a bit annoying.
So I was wondering if I could maybe split my main use to the 4060Ti and have the emulators run separately over the 2080.

I have 32GB of RAM on DDR4 and a AMD Ryzen 7 5800X CUP if that is relevant information.

I already appreciate your help.

Yes. There's no reason why it shouldn't be.

I don't see how the GPU is the problem here. Video buffering is a problem with the network or something related to it, not the GPU being busy. I can run Cyberpunk 2077 with all the bells and whistles with YouTube running just fine.

It just randomly started a few weeks ago and when I check the task manager it shows me that my GPU is running on ~80-90%. It's only that busy when I have the emulators open and try to watch YouTube though.

I have a 1GB fiber connection at my house (Fritzbox monitor shows even more up & down) so internet speed is, to my naive understanding, out of the question.

you can use your main gpu and your secondary gpu but you need a fake hdmi plug into 2080 to make it belive that you have a monitor plugged in, in the usage department(gaming settings) where you can set the gpu for applications, depends of your setting made in windows, you can use 2080 the same like a integrated gpu

If it's only when you run these emulators, and not some other graphical load (go run Unigine Superposition or something), then it's not the hardware, it's the software configuration that's causing problems.

And are you sure you're not conflating buffering, which is the video cuts out because it has nothing left to play, with stuttering?

Either way, I find it hard to believe an RTX 2080 has a problem running YouTube at the same time as some other graphics workload.

Running multiple discrete graphics cards will require significantly more power.
Your PSU may not be up to it.
To have RTX 4060 Ti and RTX 2080 simultaneously, you'll need 850W PSU minimum.

What is your current PSU model?
Read model name from info label printed on PSU or show a photo.
