[SOLVED] Is this GPU going to be a good match?

I am thinking of swapping my fx-6300 with a ryzen 5 2600 and changing to 16GB RAM.
I currently have a Gigabyte HD7970, but I am not sure if I should also change my GPU.
I am thinking that I may as well keep it as it is okay but will it be too bad for the 2600? I am not sure, please advise

Also I am thinking of getting 144HZ monitor because of games like cs:go. Will my cpu and gpu be able to handle this?

I'm assuming you know you will also need to change the motherboard and the ram to complete your migration to the 2nd generation Ryzen platform. You will also need to state the make and model of your PSU. Also include the make and model of your monitor. You may want to read this later on.
