This gt 730 (https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814487361&ignorebbr=1&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-PC&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-PC-_-pla-_-Video+Card+-+Nvidia-_-N82E16814487361&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI2_CtndHD1QIVG1gNCh1b_ALNEAkYASABEgLQkPD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds) seems good with 4gb of gddr5, but it seems to good to be true. I need a single slot graphics card, and my only other good option under $100 is this gt 1030 (https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814137139). I can't find any reviews on the 730; help is much needed and appreciated!

Solution
The 1030 is a bit faster mostly due to clockspeeds and more texturing units:

730 Kepler: 384:16:8 at 902MHz, 40GB/s memory
1030 Pascal: 384:24:8 at 1468MHz boost clock, 48GB/s memory

Both are fine cards for 1366x768p resolution, especially for games that aren't too shader-heavy. At this low performance level neither 4GB vs 2GB nor PCIe x8 vs x4 make any difference. They are after all, only 25-30 watt cards.

If it makes a difference the 730 does support analog VGA out and Windows XP for use in a retrogaming system, while the 1030 does not. For old games that don't use shaders both cards will perform a bit worse than a 2006 vintage 8800GTX.
If it's for multi monitor support then get the GT730 but if it's for 720p/1080p gaming, you'll be fine with the GT1030 2GB versions Speaking of multi monitors, if that is it's intended purpose, what are the make and model of your monitors? If gaming, which titles are we talking about here?

Thanks for the response! I'm using it for basic gaming on one monitor. stuff like overwatch, dark souls III, etc. and right now I can run the games, but only at low quality. the 1030 has 2gb while the gt 730 has 4gb, so for current triple A titles and future ones Which one would be Ideal?

Solution
4gb on a gpu like gt 730 is not worth it, with a gpu like that you ll always need to play games at very low and at that graphical setting you are not going to use more than 1.5gb...
