Is this hard drive compatible with my laptop ?

I have Acer Aspire ES1-512 in which there is a 1 TB WD hard disk with the WD10JPVX model and I want to change the hard disk with the WD10SPZX model which is a 7.0 mm hard disk. is it compatible with my laptop? because in the specification section of this hard drive( WD10SPZX ) is written "Compatible

Since you will need to open the laptop to swap the drives anyway, open the laptop and see if the drive cage and area will accept a ticker or narrower drive. If you have a 9 mm drive now, it should be fine, but you may need to adjust the drive cage for the narrow drive. Depends on how things look in there.
