Is this hard drive good?

Hi,

I was wondering if this SATA hard disk is any good?

I don't want to get an SSD as I don't have enough money for it, plus I need big storage.

So will this hard disk live long enough? Will it fail at some point? Since I will be storing many important stuff in it. Plus, I will be using it for gaming.

WD black is one of the better units.
But... all devices will eventually fail.
Protect yourself with some sort of external backup.
Modern hard drives have a advertised mean time to failure on the order of 500,000+ hours.
You are still exposed to loss from viruses, operator error,
malwarefire, theft, etc.

Protect what is not replaceable with some form of external backup.
