Is this hard drive reliable?

It is 1TB for my gaming laptop. I will buy this specifically for storing all my games on it. Does this drive last long and is this drive reliable and is it fast?

Major manufacturer 7200rpm drive. I would say just as any other laptop drive from a major manufacturer.

Fast since it is a 7200rpm drive, Hitachi now HGST owned by WD produces drives for most the big OEM's like HP and Dell. You can always be unlucky but I have two old laptops from around 2002-4 that both have working original Hitachi drives.

I believe WD bought them for their 2.5" drives so it should be built on the Hitachi tech brought over with the purchase.
