Is this how MoCA is supposed to work? What am i doing wrong?

I am trying to get ethernet in my room without running an ethernet cable across the house. I thought MoCA would be a good solution, but I'm not sure if I'm doing it right.

I have a Motorola surfboard SBG6782-AC with MoCA 1.1 and just purchased an Actiontech WCB 3000N as seen here:

https://www.amazon.com/Actiontec-Dual-Band-Wireless-Extender-Ethernet/dp/B00FKTMWDE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1527786590&sr=8-1&keywords=wcb3000n

The router is connected to coax in the living room, while the adapter is connected to a separate coax plug in my bedroom. I then have an ethernet cable out the back of the adapter into my computer. All the lights are on on the adapter and in my router settings under MoCA it detects 2 nodes. However I get no internet over the wifi network from the adapter or from the ethernet and the transmit rate in the router settings says 0 mbps. I am unable to access the adapter GUI settings through my browser as well.

I have Spectrum who said they don't directly support MoCA but I should be able to set it up on my own. Actiontec apparently won't provide support for the product anymore as its an older model.

Any help would be greatly, greatly appreciated.

Thanks!
