Question Is this just a RAM compatibility issue?

My friend and I recently built a PC. Here are the specs:

MOBO: https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/TUF-GAMING-X570-PLUS/
CPU: https://www.amd.com/en/products/cpu/amd-ryzen-7-3700x
GPU: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/graphics-cards/rtx-2070-super/
PSU: https://www.thermaltakeusa.com/toughpower-750w-gold-modular.html
RAM: https://www.gskill.com/product/165/184/1562831134/F4-3600C16D-16GVKC-Overview

When we power it on, the CPU and GPU LEDs light up and the fans start spinning. However, the mobo shows the DRAM error light, there are no POST beeps and no HDMI output on the monitor. We have tried powering up with 16GB of RAM in the recommended slots, a single 8GB stick of RAM in each of the four slots, no RAM at all, and without the GPU (with 16GB of RAM). Each time we get the exact same result. We leave the system running for about 30 seconds but hear no POST beeps.

We checked the Ryzen-Compatible Memory list and realized that our RAM is not on the list. We thought that all of our parts were compatible because we used https://pcpartpicker.com/. So I am thinking that the problem is just that our RAM is incompatible with our CPU, and if we order compatible RAM then we should be good to go. My only question is, shouldn't we hear POST beeps? Our mobo manual indicates that there is a BIOS beep code for "No memory detected". I don't know if our mobo has a built-in speaker, so we also tried plugging headphones into the Line Out jack and listening while we powered up, but still did not hear any beeps.

We also read that you can use the MemOK! button but we could not find it on our mobo, so perhaps our mobo doesn't have one.

So is this likely just a memory compatibility issue? Or does the fact that we're not hearing POST beeps indicate that we have a more serious issue?

Forget about these gskil ram junk
https://www.kingston.com/en/memory/search?model=100046&devicetype=7&mfr=ASU&line=TUF

OR did you check properly
https://www.gskill.com/configurator...524725352&chipset=1562579476&model=1562637168

PCPart picker always got error.
Are you sure you unplug and turn off power before you touch anything?
And make sure you remove static by touching the metal body?
Did you read the installation manual before installing anything on this mobo?

Did you plug in the ATX Power connector (Step 7)?
Is this CPU pin ok? (Bend Pin)

We received and installed the Ryzen-compatible RAM and now everything works. But it also turns out the other RAM was never actually fully clicked into place, so we don't know if it would have worked or not.
