Is this laptop good for gaming? Games like Skyrim, Bioshock Infinite, etc.

No. For gaming, you'll want a graphics card from AMD or Nvidia (Maybe Intel Iris). Intel HD 4000 isn't good for anything more than casual games.
More RAM wouldn't hurt either.

ok, a $400 laptop is not good for the gaming your talking about, i mean there are graphics cards themselves that are $400.

A few things, your running windows 8 and that's a memory whore, your apps and games will take more so you'll need more power in sense of graphics and ram.

Unless you buy a used laptop (after doing a full test of it), you need to go up to $600 range to get a laptop that can run games on lower settings and around $1,000 for anything that will do modern games past low.
