So, I have an Asus AMD AM4 ROG Strix X570-E Motherboard. I was looking at buying the WD Black SN750 1TB NVMe Internal Gaming SSD - Gen3 PCIe, M.2 2280 drive.

Is this something that is supported by this motherboard? Someone I was talking to said it wasn't but it looks like it has an M.2 Slot.

M.2 Drive: https://www.newegg.com/western-digi..._ssd wd-_-20-250-110-_-Product&quicklink=true

Thanks for your time and help all, I know this is probably a stupid question...

I think it was because the slot is under a cover that acts as a heat sink, but they were saying that the M.2 drives are different than a Nvme drive or something. But I'll follow up with them at some point lol.
