is this mb worth buying i am upgrading from asus p8b75-m le i am also upgrading my GPU to a 970 will it all work on this new mb ASUS SABERTOOTH X58, LGA 1366/Socket B, Intel Motherboard i have i7 cpu atm

That Asus motherboard is a different socket, from the one you have. Your CPU would not be compatible with it. Why do you want a new motherboard? Your current motherboard will work just fine with a GTX 970. MSI Twin Frozr ,GTX 970, would fit your case, without removing HDD rack.

I'm confused about what you have and what you are upgrading to. You make is sound like you are upgrading to an older motherboard. The motherboards you list are not compatible with the same CPUs. If you upgrade your mobo, you will need a new cpu as well. Both can handle the gtx 970, however.

well my ethernet cable will not work i think its broken and i only have 1 ssd of 128gig so i bought a new harddrive a 500gig and i cannot find anywhere to plug it in there is no wires so i was going to get a mb with more room for it, i am a bit of a noob at building computers...

Your board has 5 x SATA 3Gb/s port(s), blue and 1 x SATA 6Gb/s port(s), gray. You have plenty of ports to plug your drives into. Maybe you should read your motherboard manual. You will probably need to buy extra sata cables.

Make sure it is the cable and not the port. If it is the port, just buy a PCI-E network card. It will fit in the bottom PCI-E port, of your motherboard.
