Is this mb good?

Is this motherboard good for a budget build system? Or should I get a sli motherboard for about the same price?

Athlon x2 4000+
Patriot ddr2-800 2 gb (does this ram work with this motherboard? do i have to adjust voltage?)

sata harddrive
etc...

A SLI motherboard makes sense with two $600 video cards and a $1000 monitor, Budget and SLI should never be used in the same sentence. (Edit, oops, I just used them in the same sentence myself 😀 )

I wouldn't trust Biostar, even Asus is safer. Try a Gigabyte motherboard.

Have never gone wrong with any Gigabyte build I have ever done in the last 6 years . Don't know about this particular board but strongly support Gigabyte when it comes to stability, features and overall quality .

In this case the biostar has a better chipset and 10 bucks less, but the gigabyte has 2 more pci slots...so I'm really not sure here. Do you have any recommendations?
