Is this memory compatiable?

Is the G.SKILL F3-14900CL9D-8GBXL compatible with my lga 1150 motherboard(asus maximus vii hero) ? I tried to install them but the memok wouldn't work and it was not going into POST.

Yes that's a two stick set of 1866 Ripjaws X and they should be fine, install thenm in slots 1-3 or 2-4 and go into BIOS enable XMP and select profile 1 or 1866, should be fine

My mem-ok light is red and the monitor is displaying DVI no signal?

This is a new computer and monitor... how do i get the newest bios?

You may have the latest, and even though it's brand new (I have one of them also) it's already on it's 3rd version of BIOS, 0609 is the latest, and there have been a number of DRAM updates included in the two new versions
