hello all,
I bought a pc, and pcpartpicker told me Iit would only use like 470 watts. Everyone I asked said a 600w psu would be fine. Keep in mind, this is my first build, so I didn't know much. Well, it was an fx 8350 and sapphire tri x r9 290, which uses much more than that. I got the corsair cx 600, and it's not enough. The kind users of this site informed me that I should replace it. However, I swapped my mobo with a friend to see if that was the issue. He has an Asus m5a78l-m pc plus. That's a compact board. So I'm wondering if that will provide enough power for me to use when the psu comes in tomorrow, because he's not gonna have time to come switch the mobo's again this weekend. Will I be able to use the pc with this mobo temporarily?
