thats agreat monitor that would be superb for gaming .. it has decent resolution and a quick response time .. the only sad side is that it only has 60hz refresh rate which will mean your pc can only push 60fps max in all games regardless of how strong your system is .. its no big deal though because a human eye can only see 30fps so you wont see or feel a difference .. and always use either dvi or the hdmi ports vga is old now

dude they are practically the samething .. the monitor never makes the game laggy it only responsibility is to show the images been sent to it from the graphics card .. you wont see and difference between it and a higher refresh rate monitor smaller than 40inches
